Aitken and Hughes on shields in Motorland Aragon Formula Renault 3.5 prize test

A quite positive day proved to be the one of the 4th of November for the new Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS champion Jack Aitken, and his Koiranen GP team-mate Jake Hughes (2015 runner up). They were both involved in the Formula Renault 3.5 prize test session in Motorland Aragon earned for their impressive performance throughout the season.

The quickest of the two proved to be Hughes who lapped on one of the team Strakka Racing cars, clocking second fastest in 1’41”545, just 0.040” from the “pole” set by the Russian  Matevos Isaakyan, him too with a solid experience in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS.

Jack Aitken, who also won this year the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, lapped with Arden Motorsport.

The test was for both drivers the very first occasion to test a more performing car, important step of their motorsport career from the series managed by Fast Lane Promotion towards more performing and demanding motorsport categories.
