Red Bull Ring round completes the provisional 2016 calendar of the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS

The 2016 calendar of the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS - pending subject to FIA approval - takes shape. The last round announced is the one of the 10-11 September, when the series will run at the Red Bull Ring.

The Austrian round will be held in the same weekend of the championship run by the GT Sport Organizacion, as it will be for the following rounds to be held in Monza (1-2 October), Barcelona (29-30 October) and Jerez (5-6 November).

The Fast Lane Promotion series reserved to the two liters single seaters cars thus confirmed its seven rounds with the opening one to be held early in April (2-3) in Imola, in conjunction with the Gruppo Peroni Race weekend. The demanding and charming street circuit of Pau will follow on the 21-22 May weekend, as the fast and challenging Spa (11-12 June).

The Red Bull Ring venue further strengthen the synergy with the Euroformula Open and the International GT Open managed by Jesús Pareja. In the same contest there will also be the Formula 3.5 V8. To be also pointed out that Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS will still race on prestigious international races, as for its tradition.
