Jack Aitken takes it all. One week after the weekend that crowned him as the 2015 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS Champion, the Anglo/Korean driver racing with Koiranen GP won the Eurocup title.
Once more in Jerez, the same track as last week, and once more a race to remember for Aitken and Afa Heikkinen. The pole position and the two wins on Saturday granted the Brit the Championship lead. Just before the final race the lead over the closest chaser was raised to 13 points.
However all was much more difficult than expected. Ended up in the gravel during qualify, Aitken was forced to start Race 3 from the pit lane. He still managed to recover up to P16 sixteen and to achieve to 2015 Title.
From the ALPS title to the Eurocup one in just seven days. A perfect season for the Finn team that already confirmed his involvement for the 2016 season in the Fast Lane Promotion Series.
