Dzhon Simonyan joins GSK Grand Prix for the 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS season

After having officially debuted last year in the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, team GSK Grand Prix is ready for its second season in the Fast Lane Promotion Series.

The Northern Italy team aims for 2013 in lining up four cars. One of these will be for sure driven by the young Russian Dzhon Simonyan, 21 years old, that will thus debut in the category reserved to the two liters singleseaters cars.

After having proved his skills in the testing sessions held in Barcelona last December, Simonyan has thus reached an agreement for the whole season with the Sergio Cane led team, with which he will also test next Monday 18th February in the Varano de’ Melegari track. For the occasion GSK Grand Prix will line up for the first time the updated cars that will be the protagonists in the new season which will start early in April in Vallelunga.

«We are happy to have with us a debuting driver with not so much experience in singleseaters. With him we started an intense work to develop his skills and the results were already clear last December during the Barcelona tests ». - these the words of Sergio Cane, who will announce in the upcoming days also the names of the other drivers.
