Engine are started in Monza where Tuesday and Wednesday (21st-22nd February), a two days testing session will involve several Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS and Challenge Formula Renault 2.0 Italia teams. A sort of official debut looking forward for what is going to be the first round of the Season to be held on the same Northern Italy track on the last weekend of March.

For what concerns Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, still with Team Torino Motorsport, high expectations for the debut of Simone Iaquinta and of the Mexican  Alex Abogado.  Representing GSK Motorsport colors there will be instead the Nicola and Stefano De Val twins and  Nicolò Rocca. Confirmed as well the One Racing Team attendance.
